High speed chase ends in Fresno County

Fresno, CA, USA At the end of the chase, officers patted down the suspects who reached speeds up to 80 miles an hour as they tried to get away for half an hour.

They say a woman was driving the little white s.u.v., with two men in the back. Officers searched the s.u.v. looking for evidence, but they said the suspects threw something out the window during the chase. Two of the suspects are parolees.

The highway patrol said the chase started at road 20 near avenue 7 in Madera, and ended at Cornelia and McKinley in Fresno County more than 20 miles away.
