Study: People not driving as much

One of the reasons we're not buying cars is that we're simply not driving as much.

The U.S. Transportation Department said we've driven 100 billion fewer miles in the past year.

At 20 miles a gallon, that's five billion gallons of gas we've saved, and it's enough miles to make 18 round trips to the former planet Pluto.
