One challenge they will not have to worry about is promoting the generosity of several Valley businesses thanks to one sign designer.
This is the first face to face meeting between home developer Jerry Deyoung and sign designer Donald Plumb.
In only a few days Deyoung will undertake the extreme task of building a new home for Abc's Emmy Award winning show, Extreme Makeover Home Edition.
Deyoung is counting on Plumbs talents as a graphic sign designer to show the audience at home which local business groups volunteered their time and effort to this project.
Plumb plans to donate 50 banners or $9,000 dollars worth of product by construction time. Even with the tough economy this sign maker said he is glad to help out where he can.
Deyoung is facing similar economic challenges with the upcoming build but said when he started making calls to sub-contractors they were all in.
Deyoung will only have four and a half days to build the home. Extreme Makeover producers have warned one day of work is like piling on 30 days at a traditional construction site.
