Fresno Man Found Dead In Alley

Fresno, CA, USA This Sunday morning, police were called out to an alley on Belmont near Diana in Central Fresno. That's where they found a man's body. Homicide investigators are handling this case. They aren't saying much, only that the victim did have trauma to his body.

Neighbors are saying that the victim in this case is an older man from the neighborhood who was violently murdered.

Fresno Police Investigators were called out to this ally way in Central Fresno just before 10:00 AM Sunday morning.

Investigators aren't saying how the man died. But, neighbors who saw the body said it's possible he was beaten to death. They tell us no arrests have been made, but one neighbor we spoke to said they detained at least one person.

Officers have not released the name of the victim in this case. They're being tight lipped about the investigation and a possible motive. Neighbors interviewed said the area has a lot of gang activity.
