Parolee Crashes Car in Downtown Fresno

Fresno, CA, USA The crash happened at the intersection of Stanislaus and "E" Street. Police said the parolee, driving a white Nissan sedan, first hit a truck in the intersection then plowed into the back of a parked dark pickup and flew out of his car before finally coming to a stop near Highway 99.

Police said the driver had his four-year old daughter in the back seat.

"She was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The driver, the parolee is at Community Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Again he's in custody for child endangerment," said Sergeant John Chandler with the Fresno Police Department.

No one else was injured in this crash.

Police had the intersection closed for over an hour while they collected evidence.
