Just after lunch, a carpenter with the local union took advantage of a massage after hours of building furniture for Mary Ann Riojas and her children's bedrooms. With sawdust still covering his arms and the back of his blue Extreme Makeover Home Edition t-shirt, a volunteer masseuse gets to work kneading his tired shoulders.
Next to the carpenter, another volunteer is on the massage table. After about 20 minutes, the volunteers say they feel relaxed and as good as new. When the massage is over they rush back to work to finish their special projects.
