Utah State beats Fresno State 65-61

Fresno, CA, USA The Bulldogs trying not to let their season circle the wagons ... They'd look to Sylvester Seay because Paul George was double-teamed most of the night ... The junior transfer with the turnaround jumper to start off the scoring.

The dogs led by four at the half, and here in the second, it's Seay again, grabbing the loose ball and going in for the slam, tying the game at 44. Jared Quayle stepped up for Utah State, getting the kickout here and nailing the jumper.

Then later in the second half, it's Quayle again, hitting the one-handed jumper after missing a three-pointer ... Quayle had 21 to pace the Aggies. A little more offense for Fresno State ... Dwight O'neil finding Ned Golubovic wide open for three.

Big Ned had nine. The dogs were within two when Utah State worked it around to Quayle again, from the baseline, and he nails the three-pointer to pad the lead. But Fresno State wouldn't go away against the WAC's top team ... After Mychal Ladd missed a pull-up jumper, it's Seay again off the glass after the offensive rebound.

Ves was all-world, with 32 points and nine rebounds, but it wasn't enough ...
