Reward Posted for Unsolved Murder in Merced

Merced, CA 29-year-old Navy veteran Michael Riley was found shot to death outside a Merced apartment complex last October. Police found riley lying in the grass on Loughborough Drive near his apartment.

Now, the Sund/Carrington Foundation is offering a $5,000 dollar reward for information that will lead investigators to the suspect.

Riley's family is grateful for the incentive and hopes someone will come forward to give them closure. "It's sad that people have to put out money for someone to come out with information," said Michael Riley's mother Marylene Riley.

Riley was attending Merced College and was about to transfer to a four year university. Anyone with information should call Merced Police.
