CHP officers said the driver of the white car was traveling westbound on kings canyon, when it drove off the side of the road. The driver was able to get back on the road, but then it crossed over to the other side, hitting the blue car head on.
A passenger in the blue car was pinned in for more than an hour but has since been airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center. The CHP said the passenger suffered major injuries.
