Local filmmaker helps fight against cancer

A local filmmaker is hoping to help in the fight against cancer with the sales of his latest project.

Travis Cluff announced today he is donating half of his profit from "Gold Fools" towards cancer research. Although the movie doesn't have anything to do with cancer, he says he got the idea to donate he thinks the Huntsman Cancer Institute is a great charity, and he's always admired its founder.

Cluff says his goal is to sell 100,000 copies of Gold Fools this year -- which would be a total of $1-million donated to cancer research.

The movie can be purchased from his website for $20 each. http://shop.tremendumpictures.com/gold-fools-dvd
