The video shows Jew taking his time counting every bill. The FBI said there was $40,000 dollars in two stacks.
The video played a key role in the federal case against Jew. He pleaded guilty to extortion, bribery and public corruption earlier this month, and was sentenced to five years in federal prison.
Jew also received a year in county jail for lying on election documents about living in San Francisco. The court found he was actually living in Burlingame.
