UPS Hazmat Spill in Fresno County

Fresno, CA Around 3 a.m. Friday morning two UPS workers were handling a package at the distribution center near Highway 99 when a small amount of a degreasing solvent seeped from the box.

Both workers became sick from the fumes. One worker was taken to the hospital to be checked out, the other worker was treated at the scene.

Other workers were evacuated to the parking lot while crews cleaned up the mess.
