Fresno State Pinot Pork Sausage

Fresno, CA It's called "Pinot Pork Sausage" because it's infused with wine that's also made by Fresno State students.

This is the first time that students have fused two products made at Fresno State to create a new one. The concoction includes pinot gris wine and sausage and it will make its official debut at Gibson Farm Market Thursday afternoon.

Phil Paggi is one of the students that came up with the fusion idea and Ken Fugelsang is the university's wine master.

You can get your first taste of the "Pinot Pork Sausage" at Gibson Farm Market Thursday and Friday from 3-6 pm and Saturday between noon and 4 pm.

There are a couple more interesting ingredients in this sausage, parmesan cheese and pesto.
