Space Shuttle Landing

The shuttle is returning after a successful 13 day mission to repair the aging Hubble space telescope. NASA wanted Atlantis to land in Florida - but stormy conditions prevented that from happening for the past two days.

Today the astronauts took an extra swing around the world as flight controllers monitored the weather.

Mission control waited as long as possible before making the call for California this morning.

Now NASA will have to pay about 2 million dollars to piggyback the Atlantis on top of a 747 jumbo jet and fly it to Florida.
