Cell Phone Elbow

Health Watch Doctors are finding some people who spend a lot of time on their cell phones are developing a medical condition called "Cell Phone Elbow."

Orthopedists say when you bend your arm too tightly for too long, you can overextend nerves, which can cause fingers to tingle or go numb.

Doctors say the best thing to do is switch hands back and forth while talking. That will help relieve the pinch.

You should also avoid activities that require the elbow to be bent tighter than 90-degrees for more than a couple of minutes.

In severe cases, doctors say surgery is required to ease the pain.
