Anchor Blue, Going Out of Business

Fresno, CA Owners filed for chapter eleven bankruptcy protection, and announced its closing 46 underperforming stores.

Anchor Blue has six locations in the Central Valley. Two of the stores that are closing are located at the Hanford Mall and Manchester Center in Fresno.

The "Anchor Blue" stores started as Miller's Outpost. The company changed the name because they marketed and sold their own line of "Anchor Blue" jeans.

It's selling inventory up to forty percent off the normal retail price. The stores will close for good in August.
