Firefighters got the flames out quickly, but you can see it was still smoldering and smoking for a while inside the corrugated metal workshop.
They rushed the senior citizens out of a nearby home while they doused the flames that had spread there too.
You could see the smoke rising from the fire all around Fresno, and we caught some of it on our downtown Fresno skycam.
Investigators say the origin of the fire is suspicious and they're looking into what may have caught fire in the warehouse.
