The three girls are also working toward their gold and silver awards, the highest awards within the girl scouts organization, and they said they wanted to host their food drive during the summer, when donations to the food bank tend to decrease.
Molly Ferule, Clovis West Senior said, "We really want to spread the word that we're here to help. Girl scouts are a great organization and we're not just here to sell cookies, we're here to help the community as well."
The girl scouts will be at the shopping center until 11 o'clock Saturday Night, and they'll be back tomorrow from nine to six.
They'll also be going door to door later this summer, to collect even more food.
