Fresno Housewives TV Show Casting

Fresno, CA A casting call for the still un-named reality series was held at sierra vista mall in Clovis Saturday, and several dozen women lined up outside to audition.

Producers said the reality series will be different from other reality "housewives" shows because it will feature "blue collar" working moms, and life in the Central Valley.

Fred Greenlee, Casting Director said, "More normal, hard working folks. That's not to say that we're making fun of Fresno or these people whatsoever. We want everyone to look good."

Nora Bohigian, from Fresno said, "A lot of people trash Fresno, bad mouth it. I'm proud. I've seen it grow and a lot of great people, lots to do here."

The Blaze Radio Station sponsored this casting.

Producers involved with this show have also worked with comedians Penn and Teller on the Showtime channel, but their latest venture has yet to be picked up by any network.
