'Squeaky' Fromme to be released

TEXAS 60-year-old Fromme was convicted in 1975 for pointing a gun at then-president Gerald Ford during a stop in Sacramento. She became eligible for parole in 1985 but waived her right to a hearing for years.

She was not involved in the infamous Manson family murders, but remained a loyal follower.
