Suspect Rams Deputy with Stolen Car

Fresno, CA According to Scott Caldera with the Fresno Sheriff's Department, the deputy suffered a minor head injury and was taken to the hospital. The deputy is expected to be okay.

Deputies pulled over the car in Kerman on Tuesday night and said as they got out of their car, the driver took off, striking one of the deputies. Deputies chased the driver all the way to Clovis, with police and Highway Patrol officers helping in the pursuit. They finally caught the man when officers laid down a spike strip to stop the car.
