The board voted late Tuesday night to eliminate 89 positions and not fill another 130 vacancies ... a total of 219 positions.
The supervisors blame falling local tax revenue, decreasing property values, and massive cuts in state funding for the deficit. They say they'll also have to use eleven-million dollars in reserves to balance this year's budget.
