Valley Residents Raise Money for Dinuba Victims

Fresno, CA Support for the Salazar family continues to grow two weeks after a horrible crash that killed five siblings.

About a hundred cars participated in a car show in Tulare Saturday with all proceeds going to the Salazar family.

Carlos and Jennifer Salazar lost five children on August 8th, when their vehicle collided with a car being chased by police. Three people in that car also died.

Since then, the community has come together with various fundraisers, raising thousands of dollars. Family members say they've been overwhelmed by the support. "There's no way to describe it. It's amazing. The way everyone came together and supported and helped out for people they don't even know," said Veronica Salazar.

A blood drive was also held to help the Salazar family in East Central Fresno Saturday. A car dealership pledged $20-dollars for every person who donated blood.
