Michael Jackson Investigation Focuses on Doctor

Los Angeles, Calif. Based on forensic tests, the Los Angeles County Coroner found a lethal combination of drugs in Michael Jackson's body including the powerful anesthetic Propofol. The pop star's personal doctor has admitted administering the drug to his client, a drug which is normally used during surgery. Most legal experts say it's only a matter of time before Dr. Conrad Murray is charged.

"I have no doubt it will be manslaughter. Certainly not murder because this is not intentional. What the state will say is this man shouldn't be treating this man outside a hospital setting," said legal expert Roy Black.

Murray was hired to prepare the star for his international concert tour. Newly-released documents reveal what he did in the last hours of Jacksons' life. His client couldn't sleep so he injected him with multiple drugs over the course of several hours, including Propofol at the urging of his client.

Murray said he left the room briefly to use the restroom. But cell phone records obtained exclusively by ABC News show Murray made several lengthy phone calls during this period, a time when he claimed to be performing CPR on Jackson.

The doctor has denied any wrong doing. "I have done all I could do. I told the truth and I have faith the truth will prevail," said Dr. Murray.

His attorney said the affidavit is simply what police believe happened and denies his client ever left the room to make phone calls.

The issue of whether Jackson's doctor left the room could be critical in proving gross negligence.

Latoya Jackson is scheduled to give her first one-on-one interview since her Brother Michael's death. She plans to sit down with Barbara Walters next month. The interview is scheduled to air on "20/20" on September 11th and can be seen on ABC 30.
