Big Meadow Fire Burned 7,240 Acres, 70 Percent Contained

Yosemite National Park, CA Smoke can still be seen throughout the park. More than 72-hundred acres have burned. The fire is now 70-percent contained.

The /*Crane Flat*/ and /*Tamarack Flat*/ campground remain closed, along with the cabins at /*Foresta*/.

Firefighters expect to have it fully contained next week.
