2-Month-Old Exposed to Meth Smoke, Parents Arrested in Porterville

Porterville, CA Porterville Police say /*Erica Jaramillo*/ and /*William Steelman*/ exposed their baby girl to methamphetamine while smoking in the same room with her, Friday night.

The next day, the infant's grandmother called 9-1-1 when the baby stopped breathing. When police showed up, they discovered all three adults were under the influence.

The parents were charged with child abuse and child endangerment, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

The two month old has been released from the hospital and is now in foster care. Her grandmother was cited for being under the influence and released.
