First Two Eliminations in Dancing with the Stars

Los Angeles, Calif. On the other hand, actor-comedian Ashley Hamilton took his loss in stride. "Back to my day job which is slapping tanning oil on my dad's back, so I'm hoping I don't have to go back to that tomorrow," said Hamilton.

Ashley Hamilton didn't make it as far as his dad, George, did when he danced. But he made it on the show; and he considers that a victory in itself. And now, it's back to the stand-up stage.

"Well, I think people were laughing at me more when I was dancing than when I'm actually up on stage so I don't know if that's necessarily a good sign. Maybe I can do a dance comedy act or something," said Ashley Hamilton.

Singer Macy Gray was the season's first female star to get eliminated. She's on a short list of celebrities over the years who wouldn't or couldn't talk to the press after getting the boot. v "For someone not to want to come out and talk, I think that it' s, you know, human nature, you know? I think it's hard to control your feelings sometimes so sometimes you need some time by yourself," said Derek Hough with Dancing with the Stars.

14 teams now remain in the competition, one with a pain in the neck.

"You're going to dance with a broken neck. I don't care. We're not pulling out," said Maksim Chmerkoveskiy with Dancing with the Stars, " If this is going be serious, she's going to find out tomorrow, you know, we're done."

"I'm fine! It's a muscle tear. Big deal. We'll take some drugs," said Contestant Debi Mazar.

The dance teams are already looking ahead to round two next week.

"He's like, 'we're rehearsing today' and he's like, 'they're going to be five minutes' and he's like, 'tango.' And I'm standing there, I 'm like, 'okay,' said contestant Kelly Osbourne.

Cheryl Burke who is partnered with Tom Delay said, "There's another side of tom delay that no one's seen yet which is the arrogant and snappy side that he has. He has fire. Tom Delay has lots of fire, that's for sure, and that's going to come out in our tango next week."

"We're dancing to "The Muppet Show" and we're going to be Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog," said Karina Smirnoff with Dancing with the Stars.

And now, a Melissa Joan Hart moment involving her past as a teenage witch.

George Pennacchio: "Do you find it a little unusual that Sabrina the teenage witch got 6-6-6 for her first dance?"

"And my trailer is number 13, how cool is that? My trailer is 13, we got 6-6-6 and how funny is this? My lucky number is 18 so 6-6-6 equals 18 is my lucky--everything's lucky!" said Hart.
