Those other measures, according Dr. Besser, include staying home if you feel sick, staying away from sick people, and washing your hands.
Doctors say you also may want to talk to your doctor about what to do if you get sick with the flu. Especially if you have an underlying medical condition that makes you more prone to getting sick.
