Neely Found Guilty of Misdemeanor D.U.I.

Fresno, CA A jury did find Donna Neely guilty of misdemeanor D.U.I. She was sentenced Thursday to three years probation.

The prosecutor accused Neely of driving drunk last year and crashing into a car driven by Chou Her, who died at the scene.

Earlier this month, the jury found Neely not guilty of the most serious charges. Neely's defense attorney thinks her life will return to normal after being under a cloud of suspicion.

"I think it will be fine. It's just a misdemeanor. Under the penal code, after a certain amount of time, you can ask to have your record cleared."

Wasson claims it was the victim who drove into Neely's lane and that Neely was sleep driving after taking a prescription sleep aid.

The Her family was very upset by the jury's verdict.
