Moving SUV Shot Twice in Northeast Fresno

Fresno, CA Investigators say an unidentified person in a car pulled alongside the moving SUV and opened fire. This happened near Champlain and Foxhill in Northeast Fresno. The SUV was struck twice.

The driver of the SUV pulled over in a Barnes and Noble Bookstore parking lot, and called police. Investigators say there were three people in the SUV, a man, woman and small child. No one was hit by direct gunfire, but the driver was cut by flying glass when a bullet shattered the driver's side window. He was taken to the hospital. The woman and child were not hurt. No one has been arrested.
