Tulare County Confirms First H1N1 Death

The man's name has not been released, but the health department says he had other significant health problems when he died.

The man's death comes just one day before Tulare County will be vaccinating hundreds of south Valley residents.

The initial supplies of the vaccine will be directed to children between the ages of two and nine, and those who take care of infants.

12-hundred doses of the flu mist will be administered from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Visalia Health Center.
