Who Stole Elmo from Christmas Tree Lane?

FRESNO, Calif. For the last several years ... Jim Reid's holiday display has included Big Bird, Elmo and other Sesame Street characters he made and painted by hand.

But Wednesday afternoon while Reid was at home, someone stole Elmo from his front yard. He's about five feet tall and Reid just wants him back.

Reid said, "Hopefully the person who stole it will have enough heart to return it. All they have to do is just bring it back and lay it on the front lawn, and I'll put it back."

Reid is hoping the thieves will return Elmo by Saturday, which is the first official day for Christmas Tree Lane.
