Police Chase Carjacking Suspect from LA to San Diego

In Southern California, a carjacking suspect led police on a pursuit lasting almost three hours. It all started when the driver -- believed to be under the influence -- crashed into another car at a mall parking lot in Los Angeles.Police say the suspect fled the scene and carjacked a pick-up truck. The pursuit wove its way through Los Angeles to San Diego at speeds up to ninety-miles an hour.

It ended just a few miles from the Mexico border. Police used the "pit" maneuver to spin him out and force the driver off the road. He was taken into custody.
