Manai faces 25 years to life in prison for the murder of Julie Rosas, 24, when he's sentenced in February.
The couple had been dating for a short time when they married on June 19, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Within days of their wedding, Rosas reportedly was asking friends about how to get an annulment.
Deputy District Attorney Jodi Link says Manai had been showing up at her work unannounced, called and texted her incessantly.
On July 2, Manai picked up Rosas and was supposed to drive her to a nightclub in Downtown Los Angeles.
Cell phone records show the couple went to at a cliff in Rancho Palos Verdes.
Prosecutors say at about 2 a.m. Manai, threw Rosas off the 200-feet cliff to her death.
Manai denied being at the cliff top, but cellular phone records placed him at the scene.
