The driver of the van was identified as Salvador Salazar. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No deputies were hurt. One suspect in the original carjacking is still on the loose.

FRESNO, Calif. Deputies were chasing a suspect wanted in an earlier carjacking and pursuit, from two weeks ago. After a few minutes and about five miles, a deputy spun the van off the road, flipping it on its side.
