Fresno Sheriff's Deputy Had 3 Drugs in His System

FRESNO, Calif. A toxicology report released Tuesday afternoon reveals he was under the influence of two prescription medications and one over-the-counter medicine, at the time of his arrest.

The report indicates Hillis had too much of one of the prescription drugs which may have led to the accident. The exact type of medicines has not been released ... but Hillis told detectives he took a sedative called klonopin.

He was also driving on a suspended license.

Hillis remains on paid leave from The Fresno County Sheriff's Department. The District Attorney's office is reviewing the case to determine if any charges will be filed.
