When Visalia Police arrived, they found family members holding down the husband. Visalia Police were at the house just an hour earlier because they said the couple had been arguing.
Sgt. Steve Phillips said, "It was a verbal altercation there was no crime that had been committed so we cleared the call like we do many others unfortunately apparently things escalated from the time we left and the time we returned."
This is Visalia's second homicide of 2010.
