Shooting in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. Fresno Police say it happened at the Westside Market, at Elm and Grove, at around 8 o'clock.

Police say the suspects opened fire outside the store and hit a car and possibly the teenage victim, but the boy was found a few blocks away.

They say after the teen got hit, someone drove him to a home in a nearby neighborhood.

"He does have a small wound. We're not positive if it's a gunshot wound or it's from a vehicle's glass, but the vehicle was struck several times. Several of the rounds went through the window," said Lt. Michael Doyle with the Fresno Police Department.

Fresno Police are looking into whether the shooting was gang related.

So far, there are no suspects in custody and no clear suspect description.
