Helicopters have been carrying crews into remote areas of the Sierra to repair power lines in Fish Camp, where about 60 homes are without electricity.

Work crews are replacing downed power poles, and trying to pinpoint damaged lines. In a rush to get to power back on to residents, some lines have only been temporarily fixed.

Most residents said the biggest challenge has been driving Highway 41 where hundreds of trees were knocked over.

PG&E said power should be returned to all Fish Camp residents by Tuesday night or Wednesday.
