Space Shuttle Arrives at the Space Station

The Shuttle Endeavor has arrived at the International Space Station.The shuttle delivered a new room and observation deck, Wednesday morning, which will come close to completing the construction of the space station.

Endeavour's six person crew will spend more than a week at the space station, installing the Italian made compartments and helping with space station maintenance.

The operation represents the last major construction work at the orbiting outpost.

Three spacewalks are planned to hook up the 23-foot room and the seven-windowed dome.

The first job is due to get underway Thursday night.
