Fresno celebrates Mardi Gras

FRESNO, Calif. Zydeco music blasted on Olive Avenue Sunday afternoon as dozens of floats slowly made their way down the street, alongside dancers on stilts, and roller derby girls on skates.

A float of goddesses tossed beads into the crowd in true New Orleans style, and a lot of the revelers dressed up in the traditional colors of purple, gold, and green.

Restaurants in the area have been serving up traditional Louisiana foods this week, and there's new Orleans-style music playing at Audie's Olympic tonight.
