Money meetings for Fresno, Central, and Madera Unified

Fresno Unified is facing $68-million in required reductions due to the state budget crisis and targeting 35-million in reductions for the 2010/11 school year.

District officials will host the first of a series of community meetings to gather public input on the development of the budget. That meeting starts at 6:30 at Hoover High School. That's at First and Barstow Avenue in Northeast Fresno.

If you can't make it to the meeting the district has also prepared a survey for parents to fill out on-line.
