Honda says that over time, brake pedals can feel "soft" and must be pressed closer to the floor to stop the vehicle. If the problem is not fixed, it could cause the loss of braking power and possibly a crash.
The automaker says Odyssey and Element owners should wait to get a letter from the company before scheduling a repair because parts are not available yet.
Letters from Honda should go out toward the end of April.
