The Board is considering laying off and eliminating 330 jobs to cover the deficit. That's in addition to more potential cuts made by Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims.

FRESNO, Calif. County Auditor Vicki Crow told board members -- the Fresno County faces a $4.7-million dollar budget gap this fiscal year and a projected gap of more than $5-million dollars next year.
