Former Bush Advisor Karl Rove Visits Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. Karl Rove spoke at the breakfast for Debbie Poochigian at the Fresno Convention Center.

He's also promoting his new book, titled "Courage and Consequence, My life as a conservative in the fight."

Rove was a Former Deputy Chief of Staff and senior adviser to President George W. Bush. Since he's left the White House, he's been targeted by protestors at many of his public appearances; like Monday night at a book signing in Beverly Hills.

"People came last night. Some of them agreed with me some of them didn't but all wanted to have a dialogue except a group of lunatics and nuts," said Karl Rove.

There were no protests at his Fresno appearance.

Rove believes things like the health care reform bill and huge deficits will lead to Republican victories in the state and federal government this November.

He's going through California on his tour, heading to Lafayette for a lunch time appearance and Modesto Tuesday evening.
