New Community Garden to help the needy in Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. Wednesday volunteers began working on a new community garden at the downtown Fresno facility.

The garden will provide vegetables to the Poverello house which serves more than a thousand meals everyday to the Valley's needy.

Employees from Home Depot and U.C. Merced are spearheading the effort to build this brand new garden.

The Poverello House also hopes the needy taking shelter will help out with the garden.
