"It's a great charity because people aren't only giving to people who are in need, they're also helping themselves by doing that. So really it's a charity that helps on the front and the back," said Amy Wall with Hands of Kindness.
The stuffed animals were donated to the Fresno County Sheriff's Bear Project. They'll be given to abandoned and abused children.
Organizers with "Hands Of Kindness" would like to expand the project to other senior living facilities and churches.
