The picture above shows the Garfield Elementary's "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Kids 2 to the Power of 7"... after this weekend's international "Destination Imagination" competition in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Tuesday, the group returned to Garfield where they posed with their coordinator and school principal. They were greeted by a banner congratulating them on their global win. The team's journey began months ago when they took first place in their division at a regional competition here in the Valley. They competed in the "Breaking News" category and had to make a structure and props completely out of newspaper and then perform a skit about a real news event.Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Kids
