Officers say they found the 56-year-old man lying on the floor. Customers called 911 when they found blood inside the store. Detectives say the victim died as a result of a chest injury. The store's landlord says he's shocked and surprised to hear what happened.
Landlord, Roy Williams said, "You know he was a real friendly guy. He'd always greet everybody with a hey brother what's going on! You know how are you doing. Really full of life. Nice guy."
Police haven't released a motive or how many people they're looking for in connection with the murder. The landlord says the clerk had been working there for three years and was the store owner's cousin.
