More than a thousand people waited in line overnight to be among the first to get Apple's latest handheld device. Workers say at one point, the line stretched out to the parking lot of the mall.
Many brought their own chairs and other Apple products to pass the time before the Apple store at Fashion Fair opened their doors at 7:00 a.m.
This is the fourth generation iPhone. The first iPhone went on sale in 2007.
